Job Summary

The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our EmPATH LPN program. As a key member of our crisis intervention team, you will provide direct and indirect client care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing care for clients, including vital sign checks, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with the EmPATH RN Coordinator and other team members to ensure high-quality client care.
  • Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports in electronic medical records and paper charting.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new personnel.
  • Implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques to manage crisis situations.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in Tennessee.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, clinical skills, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work required 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and scheduled holidays.
