Job Title: Field Representative Insurance Inspector

As a Field Representative Insurance Inspector with Underwriting Solutions, you will be responsible for identifying and recording loss costs information and underwriting information at residential and commercial property sites. You will work in accordance with corporate standards of quality, timeliness, and productivity, ensuring efficient and cost-effective completion of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys and inspections of commercial properties to gather data on loss costs and underwriting information.
  • Identify and record relevant data, including loss costs, underwriting information, and other relevant details.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
  • Provide mentoring and quality assurance to less experienced field staff as assigned.
  • Support customer service for Verisk products through on-site visits as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred and minimum of four years of related experience required.
  • Professional designations (e.g. CFPS, CSP, ARM, ALCM, NFPA and/or CPCU) highly desirable.
  • Satisfactory completion of prescribed in-house training or equivalent required and demonstrated ability to perform all field work assignments at this grade level.
  • Excellent customer service and one-on-one interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and provide feedback.
  • Strong proficiency using computers and spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Valid driver's license and maintenance of satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policies required.
