Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly and Testing Specialist

Location: Spokane Valley, WA

Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Compensation: $29.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Configuration: Assemble and set up various components and systems in accordance with technical specifications and schematics.
  • Testing and Sample Preparation: Prepare and administer test samples for a variety of assessments. Assist in sample preparation and analysis in the optical microscopy domain as necessary.
  • Equipment Setup and Upkeep: Configure and calibrate laboratory and testing apparatus. Ensure all equipment operates correctly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage the inventory of chemicals, consumables, and assembly components. Track stock levels and reorder supplies as required.
  • Laboratory and Assembly Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory and assembly spaces, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend testing requirements, execute test plans, and provide valuable feedback for product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Prior experience in assembly and testing roles is preferred. Familiarity with data analysis software and tools is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Proficiency in assembly methods and equipment configuration.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without significant repetition.
  • Environmental Considerations: Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, and physical risks.
