Position Summary:
The role involves accurately constructing high-quality automated equipment by interpreting electrical schematics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with Wagstaff's equipment, production flow, and relevant business software for standard products.
- Utilize this knowledge in the production of assigned equipment.
- Read, comprehend, and interpret electrical schematics.
- Complete quality documentation for equipment assembly in accordance with departmental and corporate standards.
- Develop proficiency in estimating production task completion times.
- Meet production goals regarding planned hours and schedules.
- Collaborate effectively with Designers, Engineers, other Panel Builders, and relevant personnel to ensure quality equipment assembly.
- Assemble and wire control panels, as well as mechanical assembly of power distribution panels and operator control consoles.
- Install electrical conduits, pull wires, bend and install pneumatic piping, and install motors, among other tasks related to building industrial electrical and automated equipment.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical testing, calibration, and various quality control functions on finished products.
- Analyze and troubleshoot standard systems and electrical issues.
- Work with the Production team to integrate and connect finished electrical panels using best practices and cost-effective methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to engineers and designers, including red-lining drawings and NPR tags to enhance equipment design.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to company policies.
- Be prepared to work over 40 hours a week to meet business objectives.
- May involve field service responsibilities, including site visits to assist customers with electrical issues.
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required based on customer and company needs.
- Train team members in basic departmental processes and equipment production methods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Acquire foundational knowledge and develop skills relevant to job responsibilities.
- Apply standard techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria.
- Exercise limited judgment on work details and standard methods for conventional tasks.
- Understand professional and ethical responsibilities.

Technical Skills:
- Gain proficiency in standard business software applications.
- Prepare comprehensive quality documents for assembled equipment.
- Understand fundamental electrical principles and typical electrical codes and standards.

Leadership Skills:
- Coordinate with other panel builders, designers, engineers, and members of other departments as necessary.

Communication Skills:
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities.

Work Environment:
- Work primarily in a well-lit, climate-controlled office environment with close computer work required.
- Minimal physical exertion is typically needed, with moderate noise levels.
- Interaction with manufacturing shop floor employees may occur, exposing the employee to various risks associated with a manufacturing environment.
- Coordination with shop floor managers/employees may be necessary before entering the shop floor, and appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
- The role may also involve travel to customer sites, where similar risks and requirements apply.
