Compensation Overview:
Day shifts: Competitive pay with additional compensation for evening and night shifts. The listed pay range reflects the potential base salary for qualified candidates, taking into account experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, and contractual agreements.

This role entails the organization and coordination of workflow and resources to meet departmental and hospital objectives, as well as quality benchmarks.

The position supervises the technical and regulatory aspects of Point of Care Testing (POCT), which includes both waived and non-waived testing systems. Responsibilities encompass specimen preparation, testing, reporting, training, quality assurance, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Reports directly to the Administrative Laboratory Director or their delegate.
Must comply with NYS state regulations for supervisory roles, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.

Requires sufficient clinical laboratory experience to qualify as a NYS CLEP Technical Supervisor, with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant clinical laboratory experience post-qualification as a Clinical Laboratory.

Preferred candidates will have a background as a medical technologist with at least four years of experience in overseeing Point of Care operations.
