Elementary Student Support Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled School Psychologists to join our team at Soliant. This is a full-time, onsite position working with elementary students in Shelton, CT.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in elementary grades.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and accommodations.
- Assist in developing and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed and help develop behavioral plans for students.
- Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding student mental health, behavior management, and academic support.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active state licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience.
