Summary/Objective:

The Quality Assurance Process Inspector is tasked with evaluating production processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Document process discrepancies in the appropriate quality management system.

Communicate process audit findings to area leaders.

Engage positively with team members across various disciplines to ensure shared objectives are achieved (production, material handling, lean manufacturing, safety, maintenance, shipping/receiving, etc.).


Be prepared to work overtime as needed, including weekends, to meet production schedules efficiently.


Ensure proper care and maintenance of all equipment and resources utilized, including performing necessary calibrations and preventive maintenance.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities upon hiring.

Physical Demands:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly.

This position is highly active – requiring 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing throughout the day.

The team member may need to lift and/or move items exceeding 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hourly position.

Travel:

No travel is anticipated for this role.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma required; a college degree is a significant advantage.

Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to collaborate closely with others to resolve issues and follow through on solutions.

Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic instructions and blueprints.

Capability to operate and understand measurement tools (tape measures, micrometers, gauges, calipers, levels, etc.).

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. Proven experience in quality assurance and auditing within a similar industry is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities are preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
