Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at People's Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our branch staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling cash transactions, and promoting our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cash Handling: Process all monetary transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Product Promotion: Sell and promote our banking products and services to customers, including cashier's checks, money orders, traveler's checks, and government bonds.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain the security of cash drawers, assigned keys, and negotiable items, and adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in cash handling, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
