Senior PLC Programmer

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior PLC Programmer to work with a leading oil and gas client in Greeley, CO. This individual will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing automation and controls systems involving PLCs and HMIs in an oil and gas field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation and controls systems for oil and gas field operations
  • Program PLCs and HMIs using Allen Bradley, RSLogix 500, and Studio 5000
  • Develop and implement SCADA integration and communication installations
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation and controls systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and automation
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Servo Control and VFD Drives
  • HMI programming skills using PanelView, PanelView Plus, and RSView
  • At least 2 years of experience in an oil and gas environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ABB experience
  • Modicon experience
