Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Operations to join our leadership team at Jobot. This individual will oversee and manage all operational aspects of our food manufacturing business, ensuring that our processes and procedures are optimized for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, aligning with company objectives and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the manufacturing process.
  • Manage and monitor the CapEx budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and optimal return on investment.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Direct and manage large-scale projects, coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all operations, fostering a culture of quality and compliance.
  • Leverage automation technologies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Oversee plant management, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and maintenance of equipment.
  • Lead quality management efforts, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, setting operational goals and tracking progress towards these objectives.
  • Lead business process improvement efforts, streamlining operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior operations role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with CapEx budget management, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, GMP, Automation, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Plant Management, Quality Management, and Strategic Planning.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, with a keen interest in leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency.
