Position Overview:

The Production Supervisor is a pivotal and motivating figure who enhances operational effectiveness within the team. With a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity, you will inspire and guide the team to deliver outstanding results.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace that empowers team members, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous enhancement.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) while optimizing productivity.
  • Strategically manage resources, refine processes, and pinpoint areas for improvement to elevate overall operational efficiency.
  • Drive the team to meet daily objectives, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor the manufacturing team's performance, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of Daily Management Systems, including Safety, Centerline, Clean-Inspect-and-Lubricate, Total Productive Maintenance, and Quality Defect Elimination.
  • Participate in Daily Directional Setting meetings and Gemba walks to ensure high levels of quality, productivity, and associate engagement.
  • Identify challenges and implement effective corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure all customer delivery commitments are fulfilled according to schedule.
  • Create a safe and supportive work environment for all associates.
  • Oversee proper documentation of all paperwork and ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Production Lead or Supervisory Role within a manufacturing or packaging setting is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Relevant work or military experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently to meet daily goals.
  • Proficient mathematical skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on necessary responses.
  • Proven capability to thrive in high-performing organizations.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite are necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to positively influence team members.
  • Ability to assess risks and apply appropriate corrective measures swiftly.
  • Competence in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making actionable recommendations.
  • Capacity to motivate and energize others towards achieving organizational objectives.
  • Effective communication with senior management, external consultants, suppliers, and associates.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with support functions such as EHS, Quality, Maintenance, Production, Inventory Control, Planning, and Human Resources.
  • Physical capability to lift, stand, climb, and bend within a packaging environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment may involve exposure to powders, chemicals, and allergens.
