This role also ensures that the company's financial transactions are processed in a timely and precise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and supervises team members in their daily tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of accounting information processing.
- Ensures comprehensive monthly reviews and reconciliations of all relevant balance sheet and income statement accounts, addressing any open items with a structured follow-up process.
- Manages product movement reconciliations and guarantees timely recognition of sales, purchases, exchanges, transfers, and related secondary costs by acquiring a deep understanding of Valero's accounting systems and processes.
- Prepares and evaluates various reports for internal and external stakeholders to facilitate operational analysis.
- Assists with data requests from internal and external parties and participates in special projects as needed.
- Oversees the selection, training, and development of team members, providing coaching to enhance their performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting is required.
- Willingness to work on-site is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- An MBA is preferred.
- CPA certification is preferred.
