Responsibilities:
  • Champion compliance with all applicable regulations and industry-leading HSE standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the HSE team, overseeing field engagement and talent development initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of HSE trends and develop actionable plans to enhance performance and mitigate risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related matters, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Commercial functions to integrate HSE considerations into bid packages and project proposals.
  • Deliver compelling reports, presentations, and training sessions to educate and empower employees on best practices.
  • Actively participate in incident investigations, contributing to the identification of root causes and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Champion standardization across the assigned region, ensuring consistent application of HSE protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Safety Management, or Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in HSE management within the construction or energy industry.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Windows operating systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as required.
