Join British Swim School of Nashville as a Lead Swim Instructor and be part of a team that makes a difference in the community. As a Lead Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching, coaching, and training the aquatics program. You will ensure that all instructors are knowledgeable and confident in teaching the lessons and are able to be in the water as required. This position may also assist with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development, competency, and skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Follow British Swim Schools curriculum to ensure safe and competent lessons.
* Establish and maintain relationships with students' parents and/or guardians.
* Teach British Swim School lessons with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
* Teach and train new instructors on the British Swim School aquatics program.
* Maintain certifications throughout employment.
* Work evening and weekend hours as determined by business needs.

**Requirements:**

* Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to instruct swimming lessons within a structured program.
* Willing to undergo a background check.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Comfortable in and around the water. Previous swimming experience.
* Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) preferred but not required; will consider training.
* Experience working with children.
