Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as assigned. This includes performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, meeting rooms, the swimming pool, and hot tub. Additionally, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests, and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, meeting rooms, the swimming pool, and hot tub.
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program.
  • Handle guest requests.
  • Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Drive the shuttle van as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A licensed trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state is required.
  • An acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) is required.
