Job Summary

The Mental Health Support Specialist provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Specialist also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members and outside agencies to provide comprehensive mental health support services.
  • Assist members served in achieving their treatment goals and promoting recovery.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Document all interactions with members served and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences: Must have ASW, AMFT, or APCC.
  • A Master's Degree in Social Sciences.
  • One (1) year direct service experience with mentally ill individuals.
  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
