Mental Health Support Specialist

The Mental Health Support Specialist provides critical support services to individuals with serious mental illness, helping them to recover and thrive in their communities.
This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate mental health services, including case management, counseling, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health support services to individuals with serious mental illness
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Advocate for clients' rights and interests
- Collaborate with community agencies and providers to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Sciences or related field
- One year of direct service experience with mentally ill individuals
- Valid and current driver's license and personal vehicle insurance
- Willingness to use personal vehicle to transport clients
