Job Summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Energy Management & Renewables team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to Business Energy Management (BEM) Account Executives to meet the needs of business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and supervision to BEM Account Executives to meet the needs of business customers.
  • Develops and implements processes, procedures, and plans for the Account Executive role.
  • Partners internally within the company and externally with customers to drive value to our business customers and PSE in alignment with clean energy goals.
  • Demonstrates leadership in integrating new and evolving ideas and processes across a variety of organizations.
  • Collaborates with other teams to raise the visibility of products and services within PSE communities, in a manner consistent with overall corporate objectives.
  • May perform account management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, project management, or other appropriate field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience delivering complex services with demonstrated business acumen and ability to organize/prioritize/evaluate the work of partners within budget, scope, and schedule constraints.
  • Experience and relevant industry knowledge, technical experience, or certifications related to designing and implementing complex demand side management or customer utility services, including strategy, regulatory, and equity considerations.
  • Experience in working effectively and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external customers demonstrated by successful relations with contractors, consultants, vendors, and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with comfort speaking in front of others demonstrated by experience with presentations, papers, or other public forums.
  • Ability to interpret/use/translate applicable statistical/business/operational data in order to make effective business decisions and/or produce metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of utility business model.
  • 2-3 years supervising or leading process improvement, project management, and change management.
  • Customer focus and alignment-experience communicating with various audiences and customer types.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external constituents, utilize creative thinking, and problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Working experience with customer technologies including but not limited to SAP, PowerBI, and MS Office Suite.
