Job Description

The General Manager will oversee operations for an independent division within Jobot, focusing on construction projects in the agriculture industry. This role requires driving operational efficiency, setting high standards for safety and quality, and achieving acceptable margins.

  • Plan, organize, direct, and manage daily operations to optimize resource use and foster a productive workplace culture.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while improving project efficiencies to drive profitability.
  • Manage customer relationships in alignment with Jobot's philosophies, with a focus on developing manufacturing opportunities.
  • Oversee product sales and millwright services related to grain dryers, grain elevators, feed mills, and other related operations.
  • Implement effective inventory management to reduce loss and ensure accurate purchasing and supply processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and state/local agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in millwright operations (5+ years of P&L management experience).
  • Expertise in customer complaint resolution.
  • Familiarity with agricultural or livestock-related industries.
  • Mechanical skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills for understanding complex data and processes.
