Business Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Office Assistant to join our team at Lifespace Communities. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing resident accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage resident accounts, including follow-up on outstanding receivables and processing of invoices and charges.
- Review and reconcile designated invoices and charges in the billing system to generate and submit monthly resident statements.
- Enter census actions for all levels of living and maintain accurate census data in the healthcare management system.
- Prepare and review resident statements and collection letters.
- Participate in monthly or quarterly AR reviews with community teams to provide information on nonpayment of private balances.
- Identify trends and provide feedback regarding billing issues and uncollectible accounts.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Associate degree in business administration, accounting, or health care administration preferred.
- Skilled nursing, assisted living, or independent living billing knowledge required.
