Job Overview:

Key Qualifications:

  • Oversee all aspects related to Information Assurance (IA) protocols and systems.
  • Formulate assurance programs and control guidelines for information systems.
  • Advise team members on administrative policies, technical challenges, and procedural priorities.
  • Consult with various departments regarding internal controls and security measures.
  • Generate activity and progress reports concerning the information systems audit process.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, offer recommendations, and deliver Cloud computing support to government officials regarding the transition and management of Command data to designated Cloud Service Providers.
  • Facilitate cybersecurity cloud capabilities and support, ensuring compliance with Cybersecurity standards, validation, reporting, Access Control, Assessment and Authorization, and Incident response to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance and deliverables.
  • Supervise the provision of cloud security capabilities.
  • Deliver surge support, technical guidance, and expertise in Cybersecurity to assist Customers, Mission Partners, Information Management Officers (IMOs), Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), Information System Owners, Software Developers, Network Systems, and Database Administrators in accordance with all relevant cyber regulations and directives; provide results in reports, briefs, and deliverables as required to the appropriate government representatives.
  • Offer Cybersecurity surge support in response to real-world scenarios or additional requirements for RMF compliance checks and documentation reviews across authorization boundaries, including but not limited to:
    • Prepare security reviews for all controls associated with RMF relevant to assigned authorization boundaries based on Confidentiality, Integrity, or Availability designations.
    • Conduct on-site or remote reviews of all information systems to audit and validate compliance with relevant security controls.
    • Act as reviewers for audit teams during inspections, assessments, evaluations, and audits.
    • Provide necessary reports to the assigned government representative as required.
    • Conduct reviews, validations, and deliverable efforts in support of compliance or non-compliance in accordance with CCI, STIGs, and SRGs for each finding or vulnerability per RMF.
    • Deliver embedded Cybersecurity support across Customer or other supported organizations as necessary.
