Job Summary:This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing hunger relief and decreasing isolation for seniors. As a Traveling Community Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for delivering meals, serving at elder lunch sites, and other projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:- Deliver meals to elders in a timely and efficient manner
- Serve meals at community dining sites, ensuring a positive experience for our clients
- Participate in other projects as assigned by the Nutrition Department, such as meal planning and preparation
- A reliable vehicle, current driver's license, and safe driving record
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with seniors, preferred
- Competitive hourly rate of $18.00
- 20-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Paid holiday, vacation, and sick time
- Eligibility for benefits, including health and dental insurance
- Mileage reimbursement
