Position Title: HR Recruitment Generalist

Reports To: HR Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Annual Salary: $75,000

Position Summary:

The HR Recruitment Generalist plays a vital role in the mission of the Neighborhood Association to attract and maintain a diverse, skilled workforce. The ideal candidate will support the management of all aspects of talent acquisition and the onboarding process for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and execution of strategic talent acquisition plans and best practices for sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events throughout the community.
  • Research and recommend various recruitment strategies based on the organization's hiring needs.
  • Screen applications to ensure candidates meet the necessary qualifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison for management, ensuring that all pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks, are completed.
  • Conduct orientations for new hires, prepare and distribute benefits information, and facilitate the enrollment process.
  • Analyze data to stay informed about competitive salary trends and candidate demand for specific job titles.
  • Serve as a point of contact for carriers and third-party administrators regarding talent acquisition management systems.
  • Identify and research trending issues to provide effective solutions and recommendations for improving data and process management.
  • Ensure the accurate electronic storage and management of employee personnel records.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent outreach, or related HR roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with potential candidates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with intermediate skills in PowerPoint or similar presentation software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
