Annual Salary: $75,000
Position Summary:The HR Recruitment Generalist plays a vital role in the mission of the Neighborhood Association to attract and maintain a diverse, skilled workforce. The ideal candidate will support the management of all aspects of talent acquisition and the onboarding process for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the creation and execution of strategic talent acquisition plans and best practices for sourcing qualified candidates.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events throughout the community.
- Research and recommend various recruitment strategies based on the organization's hiring needs.
- Screen applications to ensure candidates meet the necessary qualifications.
- Act as the primary liaison for management, ensuring that all pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks, are completed.
- Conduct orientations for new hires, prepare and distribute benefits information, and facilitate the enrollment process.
- Analyze data to stay informed about competitive salary trends and candidate demand for specific job titles.
- Serve as a point of contact for carriers and third-party administrators regarding talent acquisition management systems.
- Identify and research trending issues to provide effective solutions and recommendations for improving data and process management.
- Ensure the accurate electronic storage and management of employee personnel records.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent outreach, or related HR roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with potential candidates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with intermediate skills in PowerPoint or similar presentation software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
