Position Overview
The People Operations Partner (POP) plays a crucial role in aligning human capital strategies with the overarching goals of designated business units within the organization.

This role is pivotal in fostering partnerships across the HR spectrum to deliver impactful services to both management and staff, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. The People Operations Partner is instrumental in shaping the workforce strategy to enhance business performance.

The POP maintains a comprehensive understanding of the organization's mid-term strategies, policies, culture, and competitive landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Collaborate with colleagues to embody the Dungarvin mission, integrating it into daily interactions with team members, clients, and those served.

2. Cultivate a deep understanding of business operations and establish strong partnerships with employees and management on HR-related issues.

3. Work closely with operational teams on HR matters, contributing to business growth and development initiatives.

4. Build robust relationships with operational supervisors to proactively address and resolve employee or managerial concerns, while identifying new opportunities for HR to add value.


5. Offer guidance and resources to assist managers with employment legislation, investigations, coaching, progressive discipline, employment conditions, accommodations, leave management, terminations, and employee development.


6. Support operational management and quality assurance by developing, preparing, and disseminating essential HR data to meet internal and external regulatory standards.

7. Facilitate professional HR orientation for new leadership personnel and serve as a training resource.

8. Provide targeted HR training to supervisors on employment law, leave management, and workers' compensation procedures.


9. Conduct exit interviews, stay interviews, and culture assessments in line with Dungarvin policies, providing analysis and recommendations to enhance retention strategies.


10. Lead and manage employee investigations related to HR matters, tracking and reporting on employee grievances in accordance with established policies.


11. Implement uniform HR policies, recommend modifications to forms and procedures, and oversee final revisions within the organization.


12. Manage or support areas such as workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave management.


13. Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and communicate updates regarding compensation as necessary, participating in the creation of revised wage ranges based on market surveys.


14. Be knowledgeable about Dungarvin's benefits offerings, explaining and promoting insurance and retirement plans to employees, while addressing any benefit-related inquiries.
