Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance work practices.
  • Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Train and mentor other engineers on maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, including reporting maintenance problems and safety hazards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification required.
  • Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
