Job Title: Vice President, Resource Development

MUST Ministries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Resource Development to join our team. This key role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive resource development strategy to maximize fundraising efforts and support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for resource development, including donor and grant solicitation, marketing, and fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and program staff to achieve organization-wide objectives and develop a culture of philanthropy.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of an annual, special events calendar to maximize resource development efforts.
  • Manage the resource development annual budget and forecast, including assumptions for resources and expenses.
  • Support the President/CEO and Governance Committee in their fundraising efforts.
  • Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle, including in-kind donations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Marketing or other related field.
  • Minimum of seven years combined of donor and grant solicitation, marketing, and fundraising experience in an organization involving a significant number of people with diverse and varied interests and backgrounds.
  • Senior management experience with demonstrated success in teamwork and coaching others, leadership, and developing and implementing innovative concepts.
  • Successful track record of growth in resource development, continually meeting or exceeding development goals.
  • Problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel around the region.
  • Able to work under pressure of deadlines.
Physical and Work Requirements:
  • Work is mostly performed in an office environment; however, offsite meetings and events are required.
  • May be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Requires sitting, standing, sufficient mobility, and physical reflexes.
