  • Assist and support the Front End Department Manager with all departmental functions.
  • Follow through on all customer questions and requests.
  • Keep the sales floor and customer service area clean and organized.
  • Bring in carriages from outside and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Follow established food safety, cleaning, and maintenance procedures.
  • Be aware of new products and their placement.
  • Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Report safety violations and hazards immediately.
  • Communicate with associates regarding all department operations.
  • Keep Store Leadership informed of all events that affect the department.
  • Maintain correct cash drawer setup funds.
  • Exchange cash and change with bookkeepers.
  • Make gift card sales to customers.
  • Collect payment for purchases and make change.
  • Notify the Supervisor when a cash pickup or change is needed.
  • Regular attendance is essential.

Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated and solution-oriented.
  • Good communicator and motivator; able to work well with others and convey enthusiasm.
  • Love and knowledge of food.
  • Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills.
