Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct nuclear facilities operations personnel and maintenance staff to ensure safe and compliant completion of scheduled work activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to personnel conducting experiments and maintenance activities within the facility.
  • Work closely with training personnel to establish and manage qualification programs to ensure proper training for facility tasks.
  • Maintain facility configuration within authorized safety basis.
Qualifications
  • Relevant BS degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or relevant vocational certificate and 10 years of relevant experience, or 12 years of relevant nuclear experience or Nuclear Facility Supervisor qualification.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must have or previously had Fissile Material Handler qualification.
  • Complete and maintain all certification requirements for nuclear area facility Shift Supervisors.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
