Job Description

Role Overview

The Merchandise Team Lead plays a crucial leadership role in guiding the team responsible for the design, ordering, and fulfillment of merchandise that supports the Path of Hope Rescue mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dynamic team in managing merchandise design, ordering, and fulfillment to create a seamless shopping experience that supports the Rescue's mission and drives community engagement and revenue.
  • Oversee the design, management, and operation of the Rescue's online merchandise store, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from concept to fulfillment.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to the ordering specialist and fulfillment staff, empowering them to contribute their unique skills while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative environment, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the Rescue's values and goals.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss upcoming product launches, address challenges, and brainstorm new merchandise ideas that will engage supporters and enhance the store's offerings.
  • Act as a liaison between the merchandise team and other departments within the Rescue, such as marketing and fundraising, to ensure that merchandise aligns with broader campaigns and events.
  • Analyze sales data to inform product development and marketing strategies, and maintain open lines of communication to foster a culture of transparency.
