Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for performing collections for a large, complex portfolio, mitigating risk, and minimizing bad debt.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Our team is passionate about changing the way people shop online and providing the best possible customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact customers via email and phone regarding past due amounts
- Research third-party payment submissions and payment applications
- Escalate collection issues with the customer and internally
- Support other areas of accounts receivable as needed
- 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit management
- Strong knowledge of collections procedures, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
