Responsibilities:

* Accept assignments from customers (insurance companies) over the phone, collect necessary information, and input into our computer system
* Coordinate transportation, storage, security, and costs for handling of vehicles at remote locations prior to sale
* Oversee and follow up with branch and affiliate locations to ensure requested customer services are completed
* Monitor buyer payment, release, and pick-up process to ensure IAA required timelines are met
* Oversee and assist target customer groups' service needs and requirements
* Accurately assess condition and value of vehicles and assemble this data for distribution to buyers
* Identify target groups of buyers with potential interest in each vehicle and ensure that the assembled information is communicated to those groups
* Assist customers and buyers by researching issues, answering questions, and providing information necessary for them to make purchasing decisions
* Oversee the sale of vehicles by closed bidding
* Coordinate the sale of vehicles with branch locations through joint live auctions and closed bidding
* Monitor the bidding process to ensure that all auctions are conducted in an ethical manner

Key Performance Indicators:

* Overall volume of vehicles sold
* Customer retention and satisfaction
* Demonstrates skills and aptitude for growth
* Ability to work independently, yet also be a team player
* Continuously works to improve efficiency by suggesting new processes or procedures

Requirements:

* 1-3 years of prior customer service experience
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Sufficient technical aptitude to learn how to assess the value and condition of sale vehicles and communicate that information in an effective and ethical manner
* Basic computer skills

Preferred Skills:

* Prior automotive, truck, heavy equipment auto salvage, and/or marine background or technical knowledge preferred
