Join Our Team as a Public Health Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Nurse Supervisor to lead our grant-funded prenatal and postpartum care coordination program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing community-based care coordination activities that address the needs of historically marginalized individuals.

About the Role

The Public Health Nurse Supervisor will oversee a team of Public Health Nurses, Community Health Workers, and a Data Analyst to provide maternal and infant home visiting and care coordination services. You will serve as a resource for health education for providers, healthcare systems, and community agencies, and work closely with external partners to address disparities faced by pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families in Franklin County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement maternal and infant home visiting and care coordination activities
  • Provide direct and indirect supervision, coaching, and oversight to staff
  • Coordinate a team that consists of Public Health Nurses, Community Health Workers, and a Data Analyst
  • Participate in candidate reviewing, interviewing, and providing hiring recommendations
  • Provide clinical and case management program oversight
  • Assist with writing, editing, and collecting documentation to assure full compliance with grant deliverables and outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited College of Nursing
  • 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse OR 2 years experience as a Public Health Nurse
  • 2 years direct supervisory or equivalent leadership experience
  • Documented knowledge and proficiency using an Electronic Health Record system
  • Current and unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse license; Ohio Driver's License; BLS CPR Certification
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $34.52/hour - $41.42/hour for Public Health Nurse III, an exempt position.
