Job Summary

As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional visitor experience by providing high-quality customer service, enforcing security and safety procedures, and becoming knowledgeable about the museum's building, history, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, answering questions and providing information about the museum's collection, history, and programs.
  • Enforce security and safety procedures in all public spaces of the museum, ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff.
  • Become knowledgeable about the museum's building, history, and programs, including special exhibitions and events.
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including setup and teardown.
  • Work collaboratively with the Visitor Services Manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional visitor experiences.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Physical ability to stand and move around public areas of the museum for extended periods.
