Cash Office Associate Position

Alans Jewelry & Pawn Inc is seeking a skilled Cash Office Associate to join our team. As a key member of our cash handling operations, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the store's cash office and check cashing activities.
Salary: $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple cash drawers, accurately make change, cash checks, and issue receipts.
- Monitor front-end activities to ensure compliance with company policies in handling transactions, including cash, checks, debit/credit cards, ID requirements, refunds, coupons, gift cards, and other transactions.
- Balancing cash and media ledger, ensuring cash control, and conducting regular safety deposits.
- Maintain accurate records on cash controls for internal audits.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills, able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of products, and the ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
Working ConditionsThis is a part-time position working every other weekend, with a schedule that may vary. Work location: 1186 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806.
