Dental Office Manager Position

Laurelwood Family Dentistry, a high-tech dental practice in Asheville, is seeking an experienced and people-oriented individual to manage patient treatment plan presentations and scheduling.
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
About the Job
We are looking for a skilled coordinator who can effectively communicate with patients, schedule appointments, and coordinate with specialists' offices. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge of dentistry, excellent communication and organizational skills, and experience with dental practice management software.
Job Responsibilities
- Obtain and understand dental benefits and eligibility
- Present recommended treatment plans to patients
- Schedule appointments
- Coordinate with specialists' offices
- Take payments and construct payment plans
- Create and maintain follow-up lists of patients to contact
- Review the day's schedule in advance and greet patients as they arrive
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; associates or high school degree considered with 3-5 years of work experience in a dental practice setting
- 3-5 years of experience in a dental practice setting mandatory without a bachelor's degree
- Customer service and/or public relations background, or education inside the healthcare field may be considered
