This position is full-time during the night shift.

Location:
Knoxville, TN

Schedule:
Monday - Friday

Hours:
8:00 pm - 4:30 am

In this position, you will:
Play a crucial role in the patient care continuum by ensuring that laboratory specimens are accurately processed, prepared, and stored.
Identify when corrective measures are necessary and implement effective solutions.
Work in a laboratory setting with biological hazards, adhering to PPE protocols.
Promote safety, compliance, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
Strong reading, writing, and analytical abilities.
Capability to operate standard laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and alarms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory, data entry, or production environment.

Additional Information:
This role involves routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI).

Employees will receive training on appropriate safeguards and are expected to maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant privacy and security regulations.

Employees should only access PHI as necessary to perform their job duties.
