Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Director to lead our Nephrology sales team in West Los Angeles. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Nephrology sales professionals to achieve sales targets and grow market share
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including nephrologists, hospitals, and healthcare organizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in a related field and 2 years of sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of sales success, with a strong understanding of the nephrology market and customer needs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve performance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales experience in the biologics, infusion, and/or rare/specialty products industries
  • Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks
  • Strong knowledge of the nephrology market, including trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with some overnight and weekend commitments
