Key Responsibilities

The Trade Marketing Manager will be instrumental in shaping and executing channel sales strategies while aligning with the overarching marketing objectives for Nature's Way brands. This role encompasses:

  • Active participation in a collaborative sales and marketing team, focusing on corporate and channel goals.
  • Data collection and analysis to identify market trends utilizing industry reports, market research, and consumer insights.
  • Leading product planning initiatives from a sales perspective.
  • Creating tailored sales strategies in line with corporate marketing for specific customer products and distribution channels.
  • Advising on improvements or modifications in retailer distribution.
  • Conducting competitive assessments for designated retailers and brands.
  • Guiding the business team in developing strategic plans and enhancing retailer relationships.
  • Collaborating with sales leadership to create effective sales programs and tools, ensuring proper dissemination of marketing materials.
  • Acting as the primary sales contact for trade show engagements.
  • Formulating channel trade strategies and promotional plans.
  • Presenting market opportunities and competitive landscapes influenced by new product developments.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to devise business solutions.
  • Integrating feedback from sales and retailers to refine brand strategies and product offerings.
  • Executing specific projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, including account management.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach as a team player.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Independence and the ability to work without close supervision.
  • A keen interest in learning and collaborating with various departments.
Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP CRM software, and Microsoft Outlook.
