A Role within Point72's Finance Division

The Finance division is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive range of timely, precise, relevant, and impartial financial insights, guidance, and services to its internal partners, while upholding the utmost professional and ethical standards. The primary duties of this position encompass capital planning, income distribution and computation of management and incentive fees, as well as the preparation and dissemination of monthly reports.

The Fund Asset Allocation & Analysis team is crucial in executing activities across the Firm's hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital sectors, collaborating closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations. The team's responsibilities include capital planning and asset allocation, income distribution and calculation of management and incentive fees, developing financial models for strategic initiatives, conducting firm-wide due diligence under FATCA/CRS regulations, and preparing and distributing monthly and annual reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain monthly asset allocation models to align with fund target allocations
  • Calculate monthly advisory and incentive fees, along with pass-through expenses
  • Oversee and adjust currency hedging strategies
  • Support the monthly closing process for various multi-strategy funds
  • Generate performance estimates for senior management and Limited Partners
  • Prepare and distribute ownership and NAV statements to relevant parties
  • Create quarterly tear sheets and monthly performance records
  • Compile financial data for business partners, counterparties, and investors
  • Construct financial models for strategic initiatives and fund evaluations
  • Assist with annual financial audits and regulatory reporting
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the team's policies and procedures
  • Engage in technical and special projects
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial services
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Proficient in MS Excel and VBA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
