Position: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Broomfield, CO
Job Type: Direct Hire - US Citizenship required
Compensation: $120k/year
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and address opportunities for enhancement while developing root cause solutions.
- Facilitate process improvement workshops and initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
- Guide and mentor potential lean practitioners through impactful projects and events.
- Develop and implement Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and continuous improvement strategies.
- Align lean initiatives with corporate objectives, metrics, and strategies.
- Provide leadership with insights and expertise in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies to support business success.
- Plan and conduct training sessions for employee development in Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Conduct machine capability (CmK) and test equipment capability (GR&R) assessments using statistical analysis tools.
- Support internal, external, and AS9100 quality audits.
- Assist in the creation and execution of performance metrics.
- Perform additional QA-related tasks as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in continuous quality improvement within a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Proven track record of leading Kaizen events to reduce waste and enhance workflow.
- Excellent digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Skilled in Value Stream Mapping and Lean Six Sigma practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the aerospace or electronics manufacturing sectors.
- Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt.
- Experience as an AS9100 or ISO 9000 Auditor.
