About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Quality Inspector to join our team at MKS Instruments. As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality inspection procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to identify defects and nonconformities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Develop and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to inspection team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical inspection, with a strong understanding of machined and welded components.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using mechanical inspection tools and methods.
  • Experience with CMM (Hexagon and Keyence preferred) and data collection and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
