Core Responsibilities:
  • Advise and assist management with recruitment processes, including reference checks and employment verifications.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives related to HR matters, such as performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Conduct regular HR training sessions for employees and management.
  • Ensure adherence to the company’s conflict resolution policies and procedures.
  • Develop and clarify policies and procedures for staff and supervisors, ensuring consistent application.
  • Perform regular audits related to training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and update policies in accordance with current legislation and best practices.
  • Maintain the HR Policies & Procedures and Employee Handbook.
  • Administer disciplinary procedures and conduct investigations related to employee conduct.
  • Manage all Workers Compensation and Unemployment Claims.
  • Support office operations and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and facilitate discussions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and sensitivity in varying situations.
  • Capability to work independently on diverse projects.
  • Proficient in building rapport and effective communication with various levels within the organization.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in benefits administration, performance management, policy implementation, and payroll preferred.
  • Willingness to work full-time and additional hours as needed to fulfill responsibilities.
