Role Overview:
As a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst within the Pharmacy Services Finance Business Intelligence, Automation, & Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming extensive financial data into actionable insights for the CFO organization. Your expertise will help guide strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Dashboard Design:** Create intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that prioritize user experience and quick insights, incorporating innovative features and functionalities.
2. **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with internal Finance stakeholders to identify and address their analytical requirements.
3. **Analytics Product Development:** Collaborate with data management teams to efficiently develop new analytics products.
4. **Peer Reviews:** Facilitate discussions on design and feature engineering during Peer Design and Code Reviews.
5. **Subject Matter Expertise:** Provide guidance in data visualization, offering recommendations on project scope, architecture, and deployment.
6. **Data Integration:** Synthesize large volumes of data from various sources to create comprehensive semantic layer data sources for multiple applications.
7. **Quality Assurance:** Ensure that developed solutions maintain high quality, availability, and performance standards.
8. **Process Improvement:** Drive automation and streamline existing technical processes for enhanced efficiency.
9. **Ad-hoc Reporting:** Respond promptly to ad-hoc data and reporting requests to support the broader Finance team.
10. **Mentorship:** Offer technical guidance and support to junior analysts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik).
- At least 5 years of experience in financial data analysis or within a finance department.
- Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries for data manipulation.
- Experience leading large-scale analytics initiatives for a minimum of 2 years.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms for over 2 years.
- Knowledge of Python or R in an analytics context for at least 1 year.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with visual design principles, particularly pre-attentive attributes.
- Background in managing server-based BI platforms (e.g., Tableau site administration).
- Tableau Certified Data Analyst designation.
- Exposure to data mining and wrangling tools (e.g., Alteryx, Trifacta, Talend).
- Understanding of data management concepts (ETL, dimensional modeling, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to devise innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
