AVA Consulting is seeking a dedicated Construction Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for supporting our construction initiatives across North America.

JOB SUMMARY:
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of construction projects to enhance site operations. Facilitate construction scheduling and ensure effective communication among stakeholders. Provide daily oversight and RFI support for ongoing construction projects. Serve as the primary contact between on-site construction teams and project management. May handle estimates, timelines, materials procurement, and purchase orders. Daily Activities: Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications. Coordinate weekend and shutdown work plans with contractors and relevant teams. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage equipment delivery and installation schedules. Possess a solid understanding of general construction methodologies. Monitor the installation processes of electrical and mechanical systems to confirm adherence to specifications and drawings. Manage RFIs (Requests for Information) and Change Orders effectively. Required Qualifications:
Essential Skills: Proficient in MS Office and project management software. Strong background in building construction. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. OSHA Training certification. Technical degree or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment commissioning. Additional OSHA training. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
