Job Responsibilities:
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all on-site construction efforts and supervising field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing construction activities and managing field staff to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintaining daily communication with project management to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Developing and updating construction schedules while identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  • Overseeing the procurement of materials and scheduling necessary inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications:
Required:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Familiarity with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Naval Facilities Engineering Command projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and OSHA 30 certification.

Preferred:
- Additional certifications in Quality Control and Safety.

Work Environment:
This position primarily involves outdoor work, requiring interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Physical Demands:
The role requires physical activity, including lifting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to manage various construction tasks.
