Summary:

MS Aerospace is in search of a committed Compensation and Benefits Specialist to enhance our team. This position involves managing payroll systems, time tracking, and related functions within a dynamic work environment. You will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and collaborate with various departments to ensure precise payroll execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electronic payroll processes for both exempt and non-exempt employees on a biweekly basis
  • Develop and refine documentation workflows
  • Maintain digital payroll records and work in conjunction with the Finance Department
  • Supervise manual check issuance
  • Administer the automated timekeeping system, including onboarding, setup, auditing, and training
  • Handle garnishments, leaves of absence, and employment verification processes
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and organizational regulations
  • Address payroll-related issues and perform routine activities
  • Assist with audits and year-end financial reporting
  • Manage taxation aspects of employer-sponsored benefits
  • Collaborate on various projects as required
  • Foster a cooperative team environment
  • Communicate effectively while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of payroll experience in a high-volume setting
  • Familiarity with ADP processing, including Workforce Now and Enhanced Time
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and capability to support HR functions

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranging from $25.00 to $35.00, commensurate with education and experience.
