Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits

As a Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits at KPMG, you will lead our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice and work with Tax, Audit, and Advisory teams to provide compensation, benefits, and HR-related services to clients. You will manage relationships with large clients, advise on tactical issues, and oversee risk and financial performance of engagement. You will also assess the tax impact on clients, develop tax arguments, and suggest recommendations. Additionally, you will participate in market and business activities, contribute to the development of tax professionals, and teach/speak for internal and external classes and seminars.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Tax, Audit, and Advisory teams to provide compensation, benefits, and HR-related services to clients.
- Manage relationships with large clients, advise on tactical issues, and oversee risk and financial performance of engagement.
- Assess the tax impact on clients, develop tax arguments, and suggest recommendations.
- Participate in market and business activities, contribute to the development of tax professionals, and teach/speak for internal and external classes and seminars.
Qualifications:
- Minimum seven years of recent federal tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or completion of one of the advanced degrees or professional designations.
- Experience with corporate taxation and partnerships.
- Proven experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
- Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal, and written communication skills.
