Senior Agile Product Owner

The Senior Agile Product Owner will play a pivotal role in advancing our claims pricing and payment functionalities, laying the groundwork for sustainable business growth.
This role will serve as a crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, defining business goals, articulating capability needs, and prioritizing enhancements effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a claims-focused scrum team, translating requirements into actionable user stories for technology teams.
- Facilitating refinement sessions and guiding the sequencing of work.
- Engaging in agile ceremonies and collaborating with the product manager to ensure alignment between team-level and program-level priorities.
- Developing and implementing processes for seamless integration and effective operational transition.
Essential Functions:
- Convert business and user objectives into clear requirements and acceptance criteria, documenting them comprehensively and promptly.
- Collaborate within an Agile framework, ensuring effective communication of business requirements and expectations among team members.
- Maintain project plans and roadmaps to manage internal and external expectations efficiently.
- Track project progress by monitoring activities, resolving issues, and providing regular updates.
- Participate in ideation and strategy sessions to identify features that enhance our claims pricing and payment capabilities.
- Conduct testing of application features in both QA and Production environments to ensure accuracy and defect-free content.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify key trends that inform business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred; a Master's Degree is ideal.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is essential, with a preference for familiarity with healthcare claims and/or EDI.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with agile methodologies and collaboration with technology teams in an agile setting is required.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and SharePoint is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and establish credibility across various business functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Capacity to maintain momentum in challenging situations while collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive in identifying challenges and mitigating obstacles.
- Technically proficient and business-savvy to engage with cross-functional partners.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
