About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing retail sales strategies that drive profitable growth across our Similac, Pedialyte, and Pediasure brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute retail sales strategies that align with customer objectives and capabilities
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, category management, insights, shopper marketing, e-Commerce, brand, and finance teams
  • Create holistic, strategic customer business plans that deliver profitable growth
  • Manage and coach a high-performing team of sales professionals
  • Ensure execution of plans and consistent communication of brand updates and drivers
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Proven ability to drive growth, improve processes, and keep pace with industry trends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to manage conflict and navigate a headquarter/matrix environment
  • Ability to formulate solutions and/or solution menus from disparate feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen, with working knowledge of trade spend models, ROI, cost-to-serve, and P&Ls
