Overview

Regal Rexnord's Aerospace Solutions Division, a prominent entity in the Aerospace sector, is in search of a proficient Accounting professional to take on the role of Accounting Lead for our Precision Gear facility. This is a full-time position based on-site.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure the maintenance of precise financial records, encompassing transactions, expenditures, and income.
  • Engage actively in the monthly closing processes and the preparation of financial statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate vendor payments in a high-volume setting.
  • Manage customer invoicing and credit memos, coordinating with Corporate Accounts Receivable.
  • Work closely with the Controller during both internal and external audits.
  • Evaluate financial processes, controls, and compliance measures.
  • Prepare daily and monthly financial reports adhering to corporate guidelines, including accrual journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Skills and Attributes

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is mandatory; an MBA or CPA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Accounting/Finance, with at least one year in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within a manufacturing context is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, auditing, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience in reconciling bank statements and balancing ledgers for reporting purposes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy, adherence to policies, and continuous improvement.
  • A dynamic team player with strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with vendors and various management levels.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, punctuality, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong independent follow-up abilities.
  • Flexibility and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and SAP general ledger is preferred.
